Who are we?
The 10th Oxford Scout group is a scout group based in Marston, Oxford. We are one of the groups in the Oxford Spires district.
In our group we have a
Beaver colony (6-8 years), a
Cub pack (8-10.5 years) and a
Scout troop (10.5-14.5 years). There is also an
Explorer unit (14-18 years) based at the group. This means we have close to 100 boys and girls who take part in scouting every week.
All sections run a mixed programme containing a wide range of activities, both indoor and outdoor, and include traditional scouting skills such as camping, fire-lighting and pioneering. Every year we hold a group camp with all sections where everyone takes part in outdoor and adventurous activities such as climbing, abseiling and archery.
