All bookings include the main hall, Stanley room and kitchen. Pre-booking viewings available.
The scout hut in Marston, Oxford is available for hire for any events or meetings.
General information
The hall is available to hire between 0900 and 2200 each day, unless otherwise agreed. Events running later must ensure music is switched off by 2200, unless otherwise agreed.
We have a supply of tables and chairs. Basic cleaning materials are supplied and rubbish must be removed by the hirer, as there is no refuse collection at the hall.
Parking is mostly 'residents only' with the MS area permit. There are some 2 hour bays close to the hut which can be used during non-peak hours. We recommend, where possible, that public transport is used.
Letting cost for the hall is £18 per hour plus a £15 booking fee.
The main hall (13.5m x 8.5 m) is well-lit with wooden floors and heating. Suitable for 72 seated or 80 unseated people.
The Stanley Room is a 9.4 m x 4.1 m space with a carpeted floor, whiteboard and various seating arrangements to accommodate 20 people. Access via the main hall.
Fully-equipped kitchen with oven and microwave as well as a set of cups, glasses, plates, bowls, cutlery and a small selection of cooking utensils.

The Scout hut was built in 1909 and has been used for scouting ever since. Since its refurbishment in 2007 it has also been let out to the community.
